Feast of the English Martyrs

We honour the Martyrs of England, so many of which died in our fair City of York. Over a hundred men and women were killed for their Catholic faith. We have numerous relics of some of the English
Martyrs including Sir Henry Walpole, St. Margaret Clitherow and Blessed Nicholas Postgate. We will have a special Mass on Monday at 10am, preceded by the Rosary at 9.40am and after the Mass we will have devotions at our shrine.

For those who cannot get to Mass in the morning, let’s gather at the Tyburn on the Knavesmire at 6pm
