Children are welcome at English Martyrs' Church. We have a Children's Liturgy Group during the 10.30am Mass on Sunday.
This is divided into 3 groups:
- those below Primary School Age (accompanied by an adult)
- those of Primary School Age and above who can come alone
- those of age 10 and above
The children's liturgy takes place in the Church Hall - the children go out in a group just after Mass begins.
If you are a parent of a child who comes to the children's liturgy and are interested in helping in the group, please speak to one of the current leaders at the group. Further help would be very welcome.
First Holy Communion is normally arranged for Year 3 children.
The Parish has adopted the Diocesan Child Protection Policy - a copy of which can be seen on the noticeboards in the Church Hall and in the entrance hall of the Church.
